Looks like today they've got some new streamer that's not restricting, we'll see how long it lasts. But yeah, the trend is just annoyingly disturbing (and I realize everywhere is starting to do it - hulu and the like wouldn't let me view from Canada).

It's probably no where near as bad for you, but I wish to be able to get more BBC stuff, and were I in Great Britain, I would be able to watch all their stuff on-line for free (using their iPlayer). But it's piracy if someone makes that content available across the pond.

I've been muttering to friends for a while that I need a point of presence in England...

Are these stations also blocked http://www.simulradio.jp/? (small community FMs)

And.. welcome to 1994! because some Japanese private radio stations are going to test live audio streams (http://radiko.jp/) but to be blocked outside the normal coverage area INSIDE Japan.. unbelievable.
